Yep, I looked at the list, and the Wikipedia page mentions about 170 websites most of which are banned by the CCP.
I hear about China censoring so much, but I myself get censored, filtered and shadow banned in the west, so I don't have sympathy about censorship of companies that censor me. HAHAHAHA! Zuckerberg!
I find YouTube, Twitter and Facebook's very nature of censorship without consultation to be abhorrent, especially when it's the algorithm and its inability to comprehend irony and satire, mistakenly sabotaging your social life because of its own inadequacies, when you have said nothing wrong, because that is a slippery slope, that agitates me to offend deliberately and I'm good at that.
Shadow banning, is a catalyst for insanity, because people draw statistical observations themselves, just like algorithms and when you say a whole lot of funny stuff and nobody laughs, because you have been shadow banned and you don't know it, then humour dies, as does any other trait you try to connect to people with and your social analytical parameters get ruined to the point of insanity.
I have come to think that perhaps China is far better equipped to judge what is good and what is not online than I am and I shall further research what they have banned and boycott it myself. I know little of their culture, but feel it safe to assume that with its age comes a wisdom that I will do well to partake of.
I would say 1 thing, stability.. that's all there is. Its their land, to protect, their culture, their people,their language their identity, everything chinese. And the main reason for fb is banned is becos they don't listen to china gov, about the terrorist attack and planning.VIA FB.
