this only works in the US where the windows are sliding up and down, here in Europe we dont use this kind of windows at all, we close it and open it like a door, or bend it. So for us its pretty useless, the ones who cant afford split AC use portable ac, which sucks…

Well hajeesh and koonbab over in india have been experimenting with ac units for a while.. they didnt ever get anywhere on account of nobody there following any kind of safety practices and using propane in a sealed systems like ac units.

In Europe, no one uses that funny window units bcs our homes are built on normal materials, not cardboard
Why take the ac window units out, just install it once and seal it with the foam that comes with it and some duck tape.

Tbh this shouldnt even have been an issue the issue here is that before the building is fixed the hvac people are supposed to come in an evaluate the place and then give them what they need but the owner of the place probably said it was too expensive an went for the cheaper option which is stupid asf cause I aint freezing my ass off if the owner of the building was too cheap an charging me 1400 for a tiny ass apartment plus I've never seen so much cheap ass people in one comment section yall rather buy a freaking lambo than have a split system or a mini split thats been with the correct but value cause window unit aint keeping you hot in the cold or yall buy sum thats gonna even cost you more money to keep u hot
